The Management Consultancy Careers Fair 10/2006
The Lausanne Consulting Group (LCG) attended the 2006 Management Consultancy Careers Fair held at the Barbican Hall, London on the 13th October 2006. The event attracted more than 2000 candidates, having been advertised by www.top-consultant.com and following a special feature section in the 26th of September edition of the Evening Standard. LCG staff attending the fair came from all the departments and from the different LCG regional units (U.K, Switzerland, France, Germany and Spain) in order to give our stand visitors the possibility to discover our multicultural profiles.
The stand illustrated activities of the 3 LCG divisions: - Lausanne Consulting
- Lausanne Academy
- Lausanne Special Projects
In particular the consulting division focused on “The day in the Life of a Management Consultant” with the testimonials from our consultants about what are their daily duties and challenges in their every day work in a project.
Candidates were particularly attracted by LCG’s international presence, the unique Delta Approach® methodology, the corporate philosophy, the balance given to both the technical aspects on a project and the human capital development of client staff, and the fact that LCG’s consultants are able to work in several different languages. For example: one of the stand visitors, a 31 years old American national living in London, said that “Lausanne is known as one of the leading consultancies with real team orientation”.
LCG staff met over 450 potential candidates during the fair and to date we have received 196 (relevant) CV’s from 3 sources. For the candidates that have not yet applied and feel they fit LCG’s requirements, then please send a CV to : consultingcareers@lausanneconsulting.com
