What We Do

Internal Consultancy Practices.(ICP)Image description

Development of Internal Consultancy Practices. (ICP)
* Teams capable of identifying potential improvements, carrying out operational due diligence, cross function analysis etc.
* Internal teams equipped with project management techniques to ensure full implementation of improvements
* Resource capable of rolling a business model out to new markets etc

In close collaboration with the Lausanne Academy, The Special Projects Division has created a “Tool Box” of a number of basic tools and techniques that can be used within a company by a team of internal “consultants”. Designed around the same principles as a basic tool kit that would be supplied for maintenance on a vehicle, ICP includes basic manuals covering a number of subjects, explanatory DVD’s, work games designed to ensure successful implementation, evaluation forms and check lists.

Following the automobile theme, potential internal consultants (mechanics) are put through the same evaluation and selection procedures that are used by our consulting division. Once selected the candidates then go through an intensive training program run by the Lausanne Academy and then sent out to gain work experience on several of the consulting division’s projects.

Once these internal consultants return to their companies they are assigned a Lausanne Consulting project Director as a “ICP Mentor”. The role of the mentor is to provide guidance, advice and support but also to keep the teams informed of new developments, ideas or concepts that might be appropriate to support their missions.
